PICK YOUR PROJEKTSIX MODEL: SC-T or SC-R?
I think it’s time to break some rules…
It all begins with a vision. A vision to design a bespoke built Aircooled Porsche 911 that is unique to you and only you. But not just any era of Aircooled Porsche cars, we chose the infamous G-Body 911, which was the first generation to introduce the wide body of the legendary 930 Turbo. We start with a donor car between the years of 1986 and 1989. We chose this year range because of the simple fact that these production years were known as the 3.2 Carrera which offered the basis of our unique engine build developed in partnership with
BBI Autosport out of Huntington Beach, CA.
Right now we are offering two primarily packages of the ProjektSIX commissions, the SC-T and the SC-R. However you decide to spec your ProjektSIX build, the performance foundation will come from a fully built 3.6L Supercharged FlatSix engine with well over 400hp and close to the same in pound-feet of torque. Like our Prototype “JADED” commission, it will be mated to a 5 speed manual 915 transmission, with the option of having an upgraded G50 5 speed. No matter which, gearbox you choose, every transmission will be fully built to spec and equipped with an internal gated shift mechanism for a more precise and direct shift patter and a Numeric Racing short shift kit for that short, quick throw we all like. If the 400hp+ mark in the SC-T doesn’t quite do it for you, you can opt for our SC-R model boasting a 4.1L Supercharged power plant with an estimated 550hp. Goes without saying that reaching well over 500hp will be more than a handful in anyones hands.
Now, what is the SC-T and the SC-R, you ask? Well, the SC-T would be our SuperCharged-”Touring” edition, and the SC-R would be our SuperCharged-”Radikale” (German for “Radical”) edition. Like the prototype “JADED” commission, which we classify as our SC-T model, it offers a high level of performance while still giving you the luxury of a touring sports car that you can cruise up the coast and even use as your daily driver if you choose to be so bold. However, the SC-R will definitely take the performance to the next level in every way, including things like lighter weight and additional aero being a primary focus, stiffer chassis previsions, interior half roll bar or full rear half roll cage deleting the rear seats all together, a bigger displacement engine and full carbon fiver bucket seats. Regardless of your Model Spec of choice, we are driven to making sure that the primary focus of your Bespoke Commission will simply be what a Porsche is meant to be…driven.
Have a seat...
The interior of our commissions are just as impressive as the performance…and some might say, even more important because inside of the car is where you will be spending most of your time as the pilot.
When you step into the cockpit of a Commission such as an SC-T or SC-R spec’d build, you will be welcomed by only the best of surface materials and features. For example, our base seat option in the SC-T is a fully adjustable Sparco SPX Carbon Fiber seat, unless you’ve chosen to step up to the SC-R model, which then your Commission will be fitted with the Recaro Podium Carbon Fiber bucket seats. As you wrap your hands around the factory 991 GT3 Manual steering wheel, you will start to notice and feel that every surface is either Dinamica MicroSuede or a Satin Carbon Fiber finish. We’ve also managed to lighten the interior even more while still retaining the rear “seats”, if you so choose, in case you have some adrenalin seeking children that want to tag along for a cruise.
All of our interiors will also feature the option of a state of the art sound system with optional touchscreen navigation, bluetooth connectivity and even a wireless smartphone charging pad in the center console. Other standard features are things like dual power windows, power assisted brakes and an upgraded and modernized fully electric smart A/C system.
It will always turn your head…
They say that, you know you’re in the right car when every time you park and walk away from it, you turn your head and look back to admire it. And we assure you that every ProjektSIX Commission will be NO exception. Our exterior design language is a perfect balance of modern and classic while still keeping the integrity of G-Body Porsche 911 shape and lines and has taken inspiration from many eras of the 911 heritage designs…but a lot of it’s styling cues is also one of those “if ya know, ya know” kind of things. Let’s see if you can spot them! Ok ok we’ll tell you…
While we wanted to shave some “lb’s” off of the car, we felt it was important to keep the classic integrity of the steel bodied Porsches of yesteryear. So each of our cars will be fitted with proper steel 930 Turbo front and rear fender flares, while shaving weight at the highest point of the car by deleting the sunroof and replacing the entire roof with a full Carbon Fiber roof panel, reducing approximately 50lbs from the top of the car and lower the center of gravity to help keep it planted to road while enhancing its’ rigidity and performance. It’s also fitted with a RS inspired, yet uniquely shaped Carbon Fiber Vented Ducktail. If you opt for the SC-R, the ducktail will be replaced by a 993 RS Clubsport style rear wing, Carbon Fiber front lower splitter as well as a rear Carbon Fiber lower diffuser.
All of the exterior lighting of every ProjektSIX build is fully bespoke and are designs you won’t see on any other Porsche car, such as the fully enclosed single piece rear LED tail light unit. This is absolutely a centerpiece of the exterior styling and seeing it at night from behind will resemble that of a Porsche 992. Another unique feature about the rear that you’ll notice is the dual bumper exit Titanium exhaust tips. These are all design features that will be included as standard on all ProjektSIX commissions.
As for the wheels, we’ve decided to instead of going with the beautiful and traditional Porsche FUCHS style wheel, to design a wheel that pays homage to the racing heritage of the Porsche 917K with a deep dish and thick five spoke design. In case you were wondering how to transfer all 450+ ponies to the pavement, we’ve got you covered! These 917 style wheels are a staggered set up, fitted with a set of Falken RT660’s measuring 255/35-18’s in the front and an impressive set of 315/30-18’s in the rear as standard, but will be happy to fit a brand of tire that best suits your needs.
